Jun. 13th, 2009 08:58 pmSo, in the further adventures of stalking the entire cast of Star Trek (2009), I have been working my way through Chris Pine's oeuvre and let me just say oh my goodness.
Everyone needs to see Confession (2005, not to be confused with any of the other 67 movies titled similarly), if only as a cautionary tale of why fourteen-year-olds should not be allowed to write movies. Really, it was written by a fourteen-year-old! Who then directed it in his twenties, but still. It's about Catholic school. There are a lot of emotions. The acting is actually really stand-out all around, but the story is possibly THE MOAST ridic. Pretty enjoyable, I found.
Aaaaand I just started Blind Dating (2006), which is actually about a blind guy who, I presume, is dating. I am only four minutes into it and I have had to pause the movie to hide my face a few times. SEEMS PROMISING.
ETA: omggggggggggg, it is bad. HOW AM I WATCHING THIS.
ETA: WAIT. WAIT, that is SENDHIL RAMAMURTHY. As C-Pine's romantic rival!! LOLOLOLOL MY FANDOMS ARE COLLIDING.
ps ACCIDENTAL LIVE-BLOGGING \o/
ETA: OH MAN THAT MOVIE TURNED OUT TO BE TOTALLY CHARMING. Next up is Bottle Shock, which is a chronicle of the events leading up to the 1976 Judgement of Paris. Yes, the day the world finally learned to appreciate California wine! A TRULY MOMENTOUS EVENT.
