My tonsils are haunting me from beyond the grave

So, yesterday morning my throat hemorrhaged and I had to go to the hospital and have it re-cauterized! \o/ The cons were that I ended up losing about two pints of blood and by "losing" I mean "swallowing and then vomiting" (I actually knew where it was the whole time!!), but on the plus side my surgeon was extremely good-looking! Also, I ate a lot of jello (dear animals, I am sorry for eating you).

I am pretty much fine now, except for how I am basically not allowed to eat anything. My boss is also not a super huge fan of me, given that I booked a week off work and have now taken three. \o/ BEST VACATION

(Seriously, though, Surrey Memorial has some exceptionally attractive doctors, I do not know what is up with that!)

i was actually kind of stoked about the jello because i'm a vegetarian and i usually don't eat it, but this seemed like a good excuse.

Oh my god. Everything about this sounds so awful I don't even know what to do. RE-CAUTERIZED. Your THROAT. I'm glad you're... no longer bleeding profusely into your throat? JFC. And, I guess, that your surgeon was good-looking. \o/

It's not as bad as it sounds! The tonsillectomy was pretty much the least taxing surgery a person can have, and the hemorrhage was like the least urgent emergency. It's just annoying that I was almost healed and now I'm kind of back at square one. OH WELL.
