Now that I have your attention:
I am writing an Art History paper, and it is about changing attitudes to public sculpture, specifically with regard to Picasso's Untitled and Oldenburg's Batcolumn, both of which are in Chicago!!!
SO I THOUGHT: I know some real live Chicagoans! Maybe they can tell me about their attitudes toward the Picasso and Batcolumn, instead of just citing newspaper articles about these things!!
SO TELL ME: Do you like one and not like the other? Hate them both? Not care? Have you never noticed them? Is there another piece of public sculpture in Chicago that you like more/hate more?
Please also feel free to talk to me if you are a non-resident who has something to say in reaction to these sculptures!
