lerouxI gotta say, the new iTunes user interface makes me feel like I have time-warped back to 1994. Which is okay, because 1994 was a good year for me. I was the smartest kid in grade one, I wasn't yet bad at math (that happened in grade eight - DAMN YOU, FRACTIONS), Kurt Cobain was still alive (for some of it).
In other news, I spoke to my manager (who was my old manager, and is now my new manager) about advancing in my workplace, and he told me flat out that my current old manager who was my new manager (the interim manager, let us say) was considering firing me, but the present manager is fairly certain that I'm awesome, so he's going to ponder things and keep an eye on me for the next few weeks to see if that is so, and maybe I will get promoted (but I am definitely not getting fired, that is an important point). I think it's kind of funny that the interim management wanted to fire me and I had no idea. Getting fired should rarely be a surprise, I am thinking.
Today I was feeling kind of bummed about the whole job situation, but then I was describing a dress to a coworker and used the phrase "Victoria Beckham-meets-The Jetsons" and she said "OH! I know which one you mean!" so. &FASHION;
Also, tomorrow I am paying someone to cut my hair. That always feels like an egregious waste of money, but after a certain point my self-inflicted hair cuts start to wander off the beaten path and need a professional refresher. What I am saying is that the hair on the right side of my head is almost noticeably shorter than the hair on the left side of my head.
Hopefully also getting my replacement iPad. Tomorrow is a busy day!
