Just made the mistake of asking my Dad a political question /o\ Now I'm stuck listening to a bunch of wacky talk /o\ And he still hasn't answered my question (which was "why do tough on crime conservatives vote against hate crime legislation even though it leads to tougher sentances.")

I think he might not be grasping the distinction between "hate crime" and "discrimination suit", but it is hard to tell. (He did agree with me that Nazis are never good, but then went on about the vast Jewish lobby in a rant that veered very near to shape-shifting lizard territory, so. Partial win?)

Now he's telling me out of his book idea which is a comedy about a multi-level marketing scheme selling religion. &libertarians;
