Happy birthday, America!
And speaking of America, today I realized that if the one-in-ten thing is even close to accurate, then there are nearly as many gay people in America as there are Canadians in the world. If Gay America separated from Straight America it would be more populous than Iraq.

Y'all people need to get more organized, is what I am saying.
In other news that is kind of related to America, I recently bought a book about Canadian English and found out that I have been over-correcting my spelling to British. 'Realized' is with a zed here too, who knew? Guy who wrote the book I bought, that's who. I was right about everything else, though. MARVELLOUS HAS TWO 'L'S, CANADA.
