lerouxDad: did you know that there's a new stargate series out?
Me: I still haven't finished SG-1 or Atlantis yet! Have you seen it? Is it any good?
Dad: It has promise. Most of these things the pilot is pretty good but they don't gel as a caste for the first dozen episodes.
It would be a stretch to say the pilot was good. It was ok but it obviously will get better.
Me: Awesome, I will have to check it out! Lately I have been watching Generation Kill - you might like it, it's a seven part miniseries about Marines in Iraq.
Dad: I will check it out. It looks like everybody is going to be fighting Muslims for the next 50 years so I might as well get used to it now.
Of course when some supernatural scourge is threatening all of humanity, they always want a few Muslims on horses to fight them off.
