Jun. 1st, 2010 01:35 amMy throat is getting better \o/ I expect I'll be able to talk perfectly tomorrow, since just now I sang a bit and it was almost okay \o/ The past few days have been pretty hard, though. Not gonna lie, getting my tonsils out in my twenties sucked kind of majorly! I don't recommend it!! But: no more tonsillitis!!! \o/ \o/ \o/ No more screechy singing voice! \o/
I've spend most of my convalescence reading Due South fanfiction and watching The X-Files. Weirdly I am not super interested in watching Due South or reading X-Files fanfiction. I don't know what's up with that. I do know that I miss the nineties! Giant cell phones! Tape decks! Those weird long bias-cut skirts! Every single dude on the planet owning a leather jacket!! Also, reading Due South is weird because I know the fandom is kinda done but it's like the one fandom on the planet where my participation could possibly be helpful. PEOPLE ARE BEING WRONG ON THE INTERNET. /o\ Quick hints: Inuvik has more than two RCMP officers (more like a dozen, actually)! Edmonton has more than one mall, but yes, one of them is really big! And yes, we would absolutely let Ray Kowalski be a Canadian, even if his eligibility score was low, because he is a college-educated English-fluent job-skilled individual with a Canadian boyfriend, and honestly we let most people in! We're nice like that! It's kind of our thing!
